DBDS-x combines sensors, power supply, data transmission and local control in one system for remote municipal and industrial sites.
Application
A flexible platform for different measuring points.
DBDS-x ranges from transmitting pulses from a mechanical water meter to actively powering and reading more complex sensors. The device is configured for the specific measuring or control task.
Measured values are stored internally with a timestamp. If the connection is temporarily unavailable, stored data is transmitted once the connection has been restored.

Transmit meter readings
Mechanical or electronic water meters in measuring shafts are transmitted regularly to our online platform, the DBDS Datacenter.
Control actuators on site
The internal controller processes local measurements and switches connected actuators according to the configured logic.

Control
Control locally or connect sites.
DBDS-x controls actuators directly at the site: a local measured value triggers an immediate response on site, even with no connection to the outside.
Through the DBDS Datacenter you can also connect several sites, so a measured value at one site can trigger a control command at another.
DBDS-BATT
Additional energy for longer off-grid operation.
An external battery pack can extend DBDS-x autonomy where no fixed supply or sufficient sunlight is available.
A 500 Wh external version is available. The required reserve is sized according to sensors, measuring intervals and site.
- ConnectedDBDS-BATT supplies DBDS-x and charges the internal battery.
- DisconnectedDBDS-x continues running without interruption on its internal battery.
- ReconnectedDBDS-BATT resumes the supply and recharges the battery.
