Sensor in the surface
Temperature sensors in the road or pavement capture the relevant surface directly.
DBDS-BTM · Soil temperature measurement
With DBDS-BTM we measure the temperature directly at road and pavement surfaces and make critical values usable via the Datacenter, mobile phone or alerting.
Application
Roads, pavements and critical neighbourhoods do not all experience the same conditions. Different locations, shade, elevations and local micro-climates can determine whether a surface freezes or not.
With our soil temperature measurement, real measured values are available. Those responsible can check temperatures, define alarms and base decisions on data.
How it works
Temperature sensors in the road or pavement capture the relevant surface directly.
We handle the power supply and data path on site via the DBDS device.
We transmit measured values to our online platform, the DBDS Datacenter.
Values can be retrieved by mobile phone or automatically trigger an alarm at critical temperatures.
We install the system ourselves or prepare the installation for municipal staff as agreed.
Installation
For accurate values, we place the temperature sensor directly at the relevant surface. A protective tube and protective sleeve help against vandalism, mowing work and rodents. We plan the specific installation to suit the location.
