From water level and precipitation to climate and cold-room monitoring: a selection of applications that shows what the sensors are suited for.
In a water reservoir the level is monitored continuously. An NB-IoT sensor with a submersible probe measures the height of the water column and transmits the values directly over cellular.
Without local infrastructure the level values are available continuously, even at a remote site.
A rain gauge delivers one pulse per amount of precipitation. An Efento pulse counter records these pulses and transmits them over NB-IoT.
This creates a continuous record of the precipitation amount without wiring, directly at the site in the field.
The state archive of Catalonia keeps historical documents. Temperature and humidity must stay stable so the holdings are protected.
NB-IoT sensors monitor the conditions in the stacks and report deviations early, without intervening in the building fabric.
Vaccines must stay refrigerated without interruption. In a clinic, Efento sensors monitor the temperature of the fridges around the clock.
If the temperature leaves the permitted range, an alarm immediately goes to the staff. The values are documented and traceable at all times.
